What types of sourcing projects are a good fit for TL?
TL supports briefs that need practical sourcing and execution across products, suppliers or manufacturing categories.
The short answer
TL is a good fit when you have a product or project requirement and need help finding, developing or coordinating the supply in China. This can be a single custom item, an ongoing supply requirement or a program that brings together several manufacturing categories.
A requirement-led business
Our website presents industries and completed projects to show the type of work we coordinate. It is not a fixed product catalogue. A brief may start with a drawing, a reference product, a material requirement or a list covering a whole project.
The important starting point is what the product must do, how it will be used, the quantity required and where it needs to be delivered. A clear brief helps us assess whether suitable suppliers and a workable commercial approach are available.
The range of work we discuss
- Mining accommodation, camp fit-out and site supplies
- Power and energy equipment and specialist requirements
- Commercial vehicles and automotive-related sourcing
- Hospitality furniture, venue equipment and supplies
- Packaging, printed materials and branded merchandise
- Large equipment, production lines and agricultural facilities
- Other custom and specialist sourcing requirements
When the fit needs further review
Some projects need specialist engineering, testing or approvals before supplier selection can progress. Small quantities can also be difficult where manufacturing setup or tooling costs are significant. These points are assessed around the individual brief.
An enquiry does not need to have every specification finalised. However, the intended use and key priorities should be clear enough to identify the next questions. We do not promise that every idea, quantity or deadline will be commercially feasible.
How TL supports this
Our Australian support and Shanghai sourcing team connect client requirements with supplier discussions and execution. The role can cover a broad supply scope or selected tasks. The Varsity and modular accommodation cases show different kinds of coordinated supply, rather than limits on the products we can discuss.
