Last updated: 7 October 2026
TL Enterprises (WA) Pty Ltd (ABN 82 636 886 658), trading as TL Enterprises respects the privacy of people who contact us or use our website. This policy explains how we handle personal information in connection with enquiries, sourcing and project supply.
Information we collect
When you contact us or use a Contact or Start a Project form, we may collect your name, company, role, email address, phone number, location and the project or enquiry information you provide. This can include correspondence, drawings, specifications, artwork, photographs, delivery details and approvals. Please avoid sending unnecessary personal or sensitive information about yourself or others.
If a project proceeds, we may also hold quotation, order, invoice, payment and delivery records needed to administer it. The personal information collected depends on the work and the way you deal with us.
How we collect and use information
We generally collect information directly from you. We may also receive relevant information from an authorised colleague, adviser, supplier or project service provider. We use it to respond to enquiries, assess requirements, prepare quotations, coordinate sourcing and production, arrange agreed inspections or logistics, manage accounts and claims, protect our systems and meet legal obligations.
We may use business contact details for relevant follow-up communications where permitted. You can ask us to stop promotional communications at any time. We will still contact you about active enquiries, orders or matters we need to administer.
Sharing information for project delivery
We may share information reasonably needed for the work with our sourcing team, manufacturers, suppliers, testing and inspection providers, freight and customs providers, IT and website providers, professional advisers and authorities where required by law. We aim to limit disclosure to what is necessary for the relevant purpose. We do not publish your confidential project information simply because you have made an enquiry.
Australian support and overseas handling
TL works with Shanghai Neway Insourcing Co., Ltd., our Shanghai sourcing support team. Where relevant to an enquiry or project, personal information and project material may be accessed or handled in China by that team and by suppliers or service providers involved in the work. Website and technology providers may also process information in other countries.
We take reasonable steps appropriate to the information and arrangement to protect information shared overseas, including limiting access and using confidentiality or contractual safeguards where appropriate. Overseas privacy rules may differ from Australian rules. Contact us before providing information if your project has specific confidentiality or data-location requirements; we will discuss whether these can be met.
Shopify, cookies and website information
Our Shopify website is hosted by Shopify. Shopify and service providers supporting the website may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed and interactions needed to operate, secure and measure the website. Cookies and similar technologies may support site functions and, where enabled, analytics. We do not assume that every Shopify shopping or advertising feature is used on this website.
You can manage cookies through your browser and any privacy controls shown on the website. Blocking some cookies may affect functionality. Shopify explains its own handling of personal information in its Privacy Policy. Other websites linked from ours have their own privacy practices.
Storage, security and retention
Information may be held in business email, electronic project records and systems operated by TL or its service providers. We take reasonable steps to protect it against misuse, loss and unauthorised access or disclosure. No online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including project administration, warranty and claim handling, and legal record-keeping. When it is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it, subject to applicable legal and record-retention requirements.
Access, correction and privacy complaints
Contact us to request access to or correction of personal information we hold about you, or to raise a privacy concern. Please explain the request and provide enough detail for us to locate the information. We may need to verify your identity. We will consider and respond to your request within a reasonable time, subject to applicable law, and explain if we cannot meet it.
If you are concerned about our handling of information, contact our team first so we can investigate. If your concern is unresolved, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, where the matter falls within its jurisdiction.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our services or information handling change. The date above identifies this version. Please contact us for a postal address for privacy correspondence.
