Can TL help with custom packaging and branding?

Packaging development brings together the product, material, artwork, manufacturing method and intended presentation.

The short answer

Yes. TL can coordinate custom packaging and branded supply around your product and project requirements. The work may include supplier sourcing, material options, samples, print development, colour and finishing discussions, and production follow-up.

Packaging formats we work across

  • Bottles, jars, tubes and closures
  • Cartons, printed boxes and gift presentation packaging
  • Bags, pouches and sachets
  • Labels, sleeves and inserts
  • Packaging for branded merchandise and hospitality supply

Start with the product inside

Confirm dimensions, fill volume where relevant, the intended use and the way the packaging will be handled or presented. Container and closure compatibility, filling arrangements and transport requirements can be as important as appearance.

Artwork should be supplied in an appropriate production format, with the approved branding and information content. Confirm who is responsible for checking regulatory or product labelling requirements before printing.

Use samples to resolve physical details

A material swatch or printed proof can help review colour and finish, while a physical sample can reveal fit, structure and handling issues. The review should identify exactly what is approved and which details remain subject to confirmation.

Printing results can vary with material and production method. Keep colour references, artwork versions, finish instructions and packaging dimensions together so the supplier is not working from conflicting files.

How TL supports this

Our Shanghai team coordinates the supplier discussions, samples and production information within the agreed scope. The Australian Honey Ventures case covers several packaging formats, while Varsity includes branded hospitality packaging.

If certified material is required, its relevance to the specific supplier, material and production scope must be confirmed. A supplier’s certification does not mean TL itself is a certification body or holds that certification.
