One of WA’s largest orchards contacted TL Enterprises seeking 80,000 metres of quality, anti-hail netting to cover their fruit trees. The netting had to withstand harsh Australian conditions and ensure protection from harsh UV light, birds, and other pests. TL Enterprises was able to source and ship the nets for approximately half the cost that the orchard was paying when buying the product in Australia.

The orchard contacted TL Enterprises seeking 80,000 metres of quality, anti-hail netting to cover their fruit trees. The netting had to withstand harsh Australian conditions and ensure protection from harsh UV light, birds, and other pests. It had to be strong but still let enough light through to enable the trees to grow and fruit. Further, the netting had to be supported by robust frameworks which ran across kilometers of orchard.

TL Enterprises travelled to the orchard to meet the owners, gather the exact specifications needed for the netting, and understand their industry challenges. With this information, we found the right supplier in China and developed and shipped samples to the client to choose from. Taking the time to truly understand orchard‘s needs, meant the first sample we provided was exactly what they were looking for and was immediately approved.

We also sourced, shipped and delivered t-shaped frames, screws and materials to support the heavy netting and ensure the right coverage for the apple trees.

We dedicated two shipping containers to the 80,000 metres of netting to help reduce costs and delivered the product in seven weeks.
