A leading German automobile manufacturer specialising in luxury, high-performance sports cars, SUVs and sedans, was seeking a supplier to manufacture and distribute unique gift ideas for their 80,000 new Chinese clients, to celebrate Chinese New Year.
TL Enterprises won the bid over several competitors and worked with the well-known car manufacturer to produce two whisky glasses and a four-pack of stainless-steel ice cubes, branded with their logo.
As our client is a luxury brand, they had high-quality expectations – the gift sets had to be top-of-the-line and beautifully presented. They also challenged us to work with a limited budget, with a lot of requirements/specifications.
TL Enterprises liaised with the client to understand their specific needs, timelines, budget and quality expectations. Once they had sent us their logos and chosen from a selection of designs we provided, TL Enterprises approached five manufacturers to find the right one and ultimately engaged three separate factories to meet this challenge.
Within a week (half the time our competitors typically take), our client received product samples which they immediately approved.
The client’s customers were given a choice of three gifts, majority of whom the whisky glass and ice cube set. Customers were overjoyed with the quality products and beautiful packaging and shared their delight through videos and comments on social media.
Our client was also very pleased with the products and service we provided. As a result, we are already working on next year’s Chinese New Year gifts, ensuring they are unique, customised, and align with quality expectations.
